KPA Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 17, 2025) – Kentucky Performing Arts announced today that Rosemary Watkins, CPA has been named Chief Financial Officer. She will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring Kentucky Performing Arts’ financial health and sustainability. Watkins will work closely with the President and CEO and Board leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization’s mission and goals.

 

Watkins previously served as Controller at Baptist Health Rehab Hospital. Her responsibilities included contract negotiation, establishing finance and internal audit policies and procedures, preparing budgets, and supervision of accounting and procurement staff.

Watkins holds a graduate degree in Accounting from Indiana University. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
